WHAT IT DOES

Description

Use the saved F5 shortcut to open persistent command bindings. Choose a registered command and arguments, capture a key, then add or enable the binding to run it locally without posting a chat reply. Version 2.1.1 removes the standalone corner launcher buttons; keyboard shortcuts, rebinding, saved preferences and existing menu access remain. No Xeloader integration was added. Earlier Plus updates add per-command permission predicates for Quill and pass authoritative human sender context instead of resolving a potentially host-owned bot. For example, use dung 3 for practice, or capture a setup and return to it later with ss load. File capture and equip are available only in Quill Plus; compatibility saves stay in memory.

Installation

  1. Close Beetleball and extract the ZIP. Copy ChatCommands-Plus-v2.1.1.dll into the game’s Mods folder, beside Beetleball.exe. Copy the DLL files rather than the enclosing ZIP or package folder.
  2. Use a working full-release Windows IL2CPP MelonLoader installation, then restart the game. Keep only one version of this mod installed.
  3. Remove the original ChatCommands.dll and older Plus versions. Install Quill Plus too if you want Quill’s commands. Host a private session and press F5 to add a command shortcut.
  4. In the F5 menu enter a registered command, such as dung 3 or ss load, select Capture key, then Add binding. Close the menu to use it. Both examples need Quill Plus.

2.1.0

Added per-command permission predicates and human connected-player targeting with a bot-excluding local fallback. Managed checks passed; native sender/RPC behavior was not retested.

2.0.1

Reduced repeated scene searches and settings-file reads, with cached input-focus and conflict checks. The build passes managed regression checks; the tester’s reported FPS drop still needs a live before/after comparison.
